Thank you for becoming a merchant on RaRa Deals. These Merchant Rules are designed to create a safe, transparent, and professional marketplace for buyers and sellers across Nepal.

By registering as a merchant on RaRa Deals, you agree to comply with the following rules and marketplace standards.

1. Merchant Eligibility

To sell on RaRa Deals, you must:

Be at least 18 years of age.
Provide accurate registration information.
Complete the seller verification process when requested.
Operate in compliance with the laws and regulations of Nepal.

2. Product Authenticity

Merchants must sell only genuine and legally permitted products.

You must not list:

Counterfeit or fake products
Stolen goods
Illegal products
Expired products
Unsafe or hazardous items prohibited by law
Products that violate intellectual property rights

RaRa Deals reserves the right to remove prohibited listings immediately.

3. Product Listings

All product listings must include:

Accurate product title
Genuine product images
Correct category
Honest description
Correct specifications
Actual selling price
Available stock quantity

Do not use misleading images or false product information.

4. Pricing Policy

Merchants must:

Display fair and accurate prices.
Honour the price shown at the time of purchase.
Clearly mention discounts and promotional offers.
Avoid deceptive pricing practices.

5. Inventory Management

Merchants are responsible for maintaining accurate stock levels.

Please ensure that:

Out-of-stock products are updated promptly.
Inventory is regularly monitored.
Customers are not allowed to purchase unavailable items.

6. Order Fulfilment

Merchants are expected to:

Accept and process orders promptly.
Package products securely.
Ship orders within the promised timeframe.
Provide accurate order and shipping information.

Repeated delays may affect seller performance.

7. Customer Service

Every merchant should provide excellent customer service by:

Responding politely to customer enquiries.
Providing accurate product information.
Resolving complaints fairly and professionally.
Respecting customers at all times.

8. Returns & Refunds

Merchants must comply with the RaRa Deals Return & Refund Policy.

Eligible return requests should be handled promptly and fairly.

If a product is damaged, defective, or incorrect, the merchant must cooperate in resolving the issue.

9. Marketplace Commission

RaRa Deals charges a fixed 10% commission on every successful sale across all product categories.

There are:

No listing fees
No monthly subscription fees
No hidden marketplace charges

10. Account Security

Merchants are responsible for protecting their accounts.

Always:

Keep your password confidential.
Do not share login credentials.
Update account information when necessary.
Report suspicious activity immediately.

11. Prohibited Activities

Merchants must not:

Sell counterfeit or illegal products.
Manipulate product reviews or ratings.
Create fake customer accounts.
Upload misleading product information.
Engage in fraudulent transactions.
Misuse customer information.
Attempt to interfere with the security or operation of the platform.

Violations may result in account suspension or permanent removal.

12. Intellectual Property

Merchants must respect copyrights, trademarks, patents, and other intellectual property rights.

Only upload content and product images that you own or have permission to use.

13. Compliance with Nepalese Laws

All merchants are responsible for ensuring that their business activities comply with the applicable laws and regulations of Nepal, including consumer protection, taxation, and product safety requirements.

14. Account Suspension or Termination

RaRa Deals may suspend or permanently terminate a merchant account if it:

Violates these Merchant Rules
Engages in fraudulent activities
Repeatedly fails to fulfil orders
Receives excessive verified customer complaints
Sells prohibited or counterfeit products
Breaches applicable laws or marketplace policies

15. Updates to Merchant Rules

RaRa Deals may update these Merchant Rules from time to time to improve marketplace standards or comply with legal requirements.

The latest version will always be available on this page. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the updated rules.
